IDI Graduate Awards Project

Our next project is a big one. The IDI stands for The Institute of Designers in Ireland. It is the professional body representing the interests of designers throughout Ireland. Their function is to promote high standards of design, to foster professionalism and to emphasize designer's responsibility to society, to the client and to each other. Each year the IDI host a Graduate Design Awards. This year, on November 6th, the event will take place in my college, LSAD (Limerick School of Art and Design).

The animation has to be a 12 second sting. This animation will be used during the awards night to introduce one of the 8 categories (if my animation was chosen). The end frame of the animation will clearly have to introduce the category title.

I am already trying to think of possible ideas for my animation and I'm looking forward to bringing them to life. I'm hoping our animation studio will finally have our computers which we were mend to get four weeks ago.
