Yesterdays Project Work

Below are a few things we worked on yesterday. 

Those are all the village houses from the fixed versions and the ruin versions. With Jenni's help I managed to finish all the broken version of houses yesterday. There are around 16 of them.

Last weeks work

Here is some work Jenni and me did last Wednesday. I started painting the roofs of the finished village cottages to make them look slightly different. Jenni and me also started painting the walls of the Village Inn Interior Set. Our working tables are getting really full. 

Work Process of Deserted Village Brief

Below are a few images from yesterdays work progress. 

I started painting the doors and windows for some village houses which were then glued onto them. They are nearly finished. I just need to add a bit more paint onto the roofs to make them slightly different from each other. 

Yesterday Jack was working on the line test for the pub musicians.

Here are some of the almost finished houses. 

This is the Set which Pat worked on over the weekend. It has a metal floor because we are planning to create the characters using a stop-motion technique of paper cut out, they will be secured using magnets. To get the cobble stone effect in the Polystyrene walls Pat used a Soldering Iron.

Applying the Thatched Roof

Today I applied the thatched roof onto some of the houses while Jenni was cutting out doors and windows which will be painted and glued onto them afterwards. The thatched roof will also be painted once they are dried. 

Painting the Village Houses

I just finished painting the last sets of houses. They all still need windows and doors and a thatched roof then they will be completely finished. Overall there are 31 little houses.

Working on Model Set for the village pub interior

The walls for the set are interchangeable so we can show the pub from all angles.
