More Traditional Animation Exercises

Here are the most recent animation exercises I have done.

This was a college exercise where I had to make up a character and lip-sync him to a soundtrack which I got from online. The soundtrack is from the demo PT game (Silent Hills).

This was a college exercise where I had to make up a character and lip-sync her to a soundtrack which I recorded myself. My mother is speaking the voice.

For this college exercise we had to make a cycle of a character skipping.

Traditional Animation Exercises

Here are some of the exercises we have been doing lately.

For the bouncing ball exercise we were first given a soundtrack to which we then had to animate to.
Here is the Running Cycle.
Here is the Sneaking Cyle.

I used peg bars when drawing so when I scanned it in the character/ball is slightly in different places so it's a bit shaky. I still need a lot of practise for traditional animation but I feel that I have been improving over the last few weeks.

Animation Dingle Festival

Some Animation Students from Limerick School of Art and Design and me at the Animation Dingle Festival last thursday. It was a lot fun and interesting. I got see the new movie by Cartoon Saloon called 'Song of the Sea'. I recommend watching it. It's really good.
